JOB TITLE: BAR ACADEMY TRAINER/FACILITATOR (PART TIME)
About This Job:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Bar Academy Trainer/Facilitator (Part Time) to work in Nairobi Kenya.
Job Summary:

Job Description

Facilitate On-Trade training sessions for our client’s Bar Academy. This includes:

- planning and preparation of training sessions,
- set-up and preparation of the venue,
- facilitation of training
- breakdown of the session

Ensure all KPI’s are met (student sign up, awareness and promotion of digital resources etc)

Requirements

Extensive subject matter expertise in bartending and mixology, training techniques and bar/restaurant operations.
Experience facilitating training, public speaking and presenting.
Intermediate computer literacy especially MS Office (Power Point and Excel)

Ways of Working:

Always operate within our client’s / Drink IQ guidelines
Develop a clear understanding of the commercial objectives of our client’s Sales team and work to ensure your training is aligned to these.
Always present yourself professionally. This includes dress code, conduct and mannerisms and written and verbal communication.
Show responsibility for personal admin (expenses / work diary / post training feedback)

Teamwork

Establish good relationships with the Sales Team, responding quickly to their requirements and looking for opportunities to support their commercial objectives and add value.
Establish good on-going relationship with regional head trainer for Africa

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Education level, certificate.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in mixology.
Pro-active, flexible, positive and reliable
