Mission

To contribute to the achievement of SBL’s business objectives by ensuring that SBL’s products have a maximum availability and visibility at POP in the key account outlets assigned to him. Is responsible for consumer activities in the key accounts and is the contact person for these key-accounts

Duties and Responsibilities
 
  • Is the main focal point for the DSD key-accounts and in charge of the VSM who is delivering the products
  • Ensure the availability of SBL products in key POSs in its territory
  • Take orders and deliver the necessary products to its POSs
  • Ensure a good stock level in its POSs; minimize stockouts
  • Ensure payment for delivered products; collect from the customer and pay the money to the SBL cash desk (or SBL bank)
  • Monitor customer accounts for their visits
  • Ensure customer credit policy is respected
  • Request agreement from their hierarchical superior on credit authorization for certain customers
  • In case of credit, the JH makes sure a contract is signed between SBL and the client
  • Ensure the return of packaging and the monitoring of packaging accounts for its customers in cooperation with the DSD VSM
  • Responsible for the presence of the product in these pdv’s and compliance with the price
  • Is responsible for daily reconciliation upon return to the factory on its products brought and return of packaging of the VSM
  • Ensure coverage of the pdv’s in its sector according to the visit plan and an itinerary (routing) established in terms of visit/frequency/type of points of sale for the VSM
  • Is responsible for consumer activation in the outlets appointed.
  • Is responsible for visibility of the products and special materials in the outlets appointed.
  • In collaboration with the Key accounts and the Trade Marketing department to make tailor made consumer activation programs
  • Gather market intelligence and make timely reports to all key stakeholders in order to track the market evolution and inform strategic decision making;

Experience required:
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, tax, and Corporate Governance
  • Good communicator who can relay difficult, dense information to management in a precise and easy-to-understand way.
  • Good team player with problem solving and judgement skills.
  • Proven at least 5 years’ experience in with similar responsibilities.
  • Good writing and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills and public speaking.
  • Computer literacy of at least MS office (Excel) and Power BI.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting domain or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and / or French
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good team spirit.
