On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Soil Specialist.
Job Overview.
This role involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting soil samples, as well as assisting in the development of soil-related projects, use specialized equipment and techniques to measure and analyze soil characteristics such as texture, pH, and mineral content, prepare reports, advise on soil conservation and management strategies and provide technical advice to farmers, land developers and other soil professionals to optimize high yields for the palm oil operation project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the training process.
- Consolidate all agronomical data.
- Support the planning of the agronomical team.
- Support the qualification of suppliers.
- Assist the Planning Manager with agronomical expertise.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required by the organization.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in the related field. Masters will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 5 years and above of similar or related work experience, specifically in soil operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use logical or scientific thinking to solve complex problems involving several abstract and concrete variables.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
