Position Title: Sales Agronomist
Responsibilities/Requirements
• You will assist to maintain the records of clients, files, suppliers and to maintain client data base and updating time to time.
• You will plan with Country Manager for increasing sales and decide the credit facilities and take approval before committing to client.
• Your main focus should be on sales in achieving the monthly budgeted targets and assist Country Manager in achieving the goals.
• You will be tasked to service your respective cluster in terms of sales, marketing, promotions, demo plots with proper agronomic support to customers
• You will work under minimum supervision in achieving sales targets set up in you KPIs and maintain professional ethics to perform your duties
• Provide training to our Distributors
• Responsible for collection of amount and remit to banks/accounts department within the allowed period of credit.
• Should follow up for the updates of outstanding payments every week, collections and give report to Country Manager every week on Monday.
• Introduce new products and new business to sustain the business and maintain the profitability of the Company in collaboration with your Country Manager.
• To monitor the stock position time to time and will arrange for new orders after discussion with Country Manager and store Manager.
• Arrange for invoicing all products sold by you to different clients.
• Responsible for counter sales and receiving walk in clients for more explanations and technical support.
• Note down the history of clients in a book with their names and contacts and inform Country Manager and also respond to clients’ requirement.
• You will note down the complaints, requirements of the clients and respond politely and if you cannot handle will seek advice of the Country Manager and inform clients.
• You will receive LPOs and other incoming correspondence from clients, NGOs and Government offices and forward to Country Manager. Maintain files for all the documents.
• You will organize planting programs and maintenance of good crops in the demo green house in office where necessary.
• You will inform Stores Manager for issue of goods required by your clients and arrange the delivery of goods.
• For any cash or cheque receipts you will inform Stores Manager to receive cash/cheque and give receipt to clients.
• Serve as the primary contact and respondent for customer issues and ensure that they are attended to and resolved them within the agreed timelines.
• Receive and resolve customer issues professionally.
• Coordinate Weekly reporting of work progress by all Agronomists in the field.
• Regular reporting of customer issues to the Country Manager.
• Maintain a database of clients.
• You will follow the procedures of the company and maintain discipline in and outside the office.
• You should coordinate with all Balton Employees.
• You may have to attend work in case of need arises other than office hours even at late hours.
• Any other responsibility entrusted from time to time.
