Job Title: Commercial and Operations Manager - South Sudan
Entity: Q-Sourcing South Sudan
Reports to: Group Chief of Staff
Supervisees: Accounts Assistant and HR Operations  
Location:  Juba, South Sudan: With frequent travel all over the country.

Job Summary:
The Commercial and Operations Manager will lead business development efforts, from generating and nurturing leads to closing sales, with a primary focus on expanding staffing, HR consultancy, and manpower management services. This role involves identifying new client opportunities, building strong client relationships, and managing the complete sales process. Additionally, the manager will oversee key operational functions to ensure efficient service delivery, quality standards, and alignment with financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Drive revenue by diversifying and expanding the client base, targeting existing clients, current sectors, and new sector opportunities.
•    Prepare and submit quarterly business performance analysis reports to the Group Chief of Staff by the 15th day following each quarter, including business trends, cash flow insights, and a one-page strategic plan.
•    Ensure zero recurrence of client complaints identified in the Customer Net Promoter Score (CNPS) survey.
•    Maintain a positive quarterly operating cash flow, meeting at least three out of four quarters as a minimum benchmark.
•    Optimize day-to-day operations to achieve efficiency and quality standards, overseeing resource allocation, workflow management, and process improvements
•    Track and analyse project and operational performance, using key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and meet business targets.
•    Maintain a risk register for every project including the monitoring of safety metrics  and ensure successful recruitments (within scheduled time and budget) 
•    Prepare a business plan that includes a marketing plan and budget for  implementation.
•    Ensure that employee files have personal contracts, letter from LC, Medical Fit to work/pre-employment form, HR Bio data form, relevant required certificate specific  to skill CV,2 passport size photographs, Application forms, relevant permits for class of cars they are driving and QSL policies.
•    Develop and manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure profitability by adhering to financial benchmarks and achieving positive operating cash flow
•    Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of learning and high performance through regular training, feedback, and development initiatives.
•    Ensure all HR processes and policies are readily accessible and continuously roll them out to the business with an aim of creating understanding and ensuring   alignment to the company strategy on those same processes
•    Deliver and provide guidance on all people decisions, in order to enhance team performance, morale, productivity, culture, and diversity thereby ensuring the   attraction, development and retention of world class talent. These includes:   Leadership Capabilities, Career/ Succession Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Reward, Recruitment and Selection and  Employment Relations
•    Serve as a resource for team leaders in handling employee issues and assist them in counselling employees; conducting evaluations, staff training, problem-solving and consensus-building.

Mandatory Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing business operations, sales or business development, with a proven track record in driving growth and operational success in the service sector.
•    MUST be a National of South Sudan or currently residing in South Sudan
