POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
Hierarchical relationship: Reporting to the Project Contracts and Procurement Manager (the C&P Manager)
MISSIONS / JOB DIMENSIONS
· To procure and administer service contracts, spare parts, materials and consumables required to support the activities of EACOP’s Field Operations activities in relation to the Project.

· The role will be based in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

· The role will be based in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACTIVITIES
The main activities will be:
- Pre-qualification: To work in collaboration with the technical personnel to prepare and issue suitable documentation to enable a bid list to be formulated.
- ITT Preparation: To compile ITT documentation with the necessary commercial/contractual input from the relevant personnel.
- Bid Analysis: To compile and analyse the documentation required to objectively award the contracts; and to negotiate with the nominated contractors’ representatives.
- Contract Administration: To provide ongoing support to the relevant technical personnel with the administration of the contract and any required changes.
- Documentation: To establish the necessary systems and contracts to comply with project procedures and management requirements.

- Lubricants
- Chemicals
- Consumables
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experienced contract / procurement engineer with relevant industry experience including services contracts, and purchase orders for materials, spares and consumables.
- High degree of fluency in English (speaking and writing).
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar project, industry and role is required
- Previous experience of Total Energies’ forms of contracts would be an advantage.
