Purpose of the job
Engineering, Maintenance & Site Operations department is mandated to oversee the execution of local preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, clean & black utilities, laboratory equipment and facilities at the mRNA-based vaccine manufacturing site. Also, it handles projects, equipment/systems commissioning & qualification, process automation, and calibration in line with cGxP principles.
The Document Controller participates in performing a wide variety of tasks including manage, oversee and execute data migration of documents to COMOS during the roll out phase of the tool and ensure its smooth integration.

Main responsibilities  
 
  • Manage and oversee the data migration of documents to the COMOS software.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and prepare documents for migration.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the data migration process.
  • Provide support and training to team members on the use of COMOS software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to document migration and control procedure.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to the migration process.
  • Ensure Tracking document versions, revisions, and changes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Compliance with regulatory and company standards for document management.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the COMOS software documentation.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth integration of COMOS software.
  • Assist global digitalization team with any required support during COMOS Roll out
  • Attend and actively participate in all departmental meetings.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Work Experience, Skills, and Abilities
           
Educational level
 
  • Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics /Instrumentation/Mechanical/Civil Engineering


Professional experiences/Knowledge
(Specific industry, function, projects / general and technical)
 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Document Control and Data Migration.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Architectural, and Construction documents e.g. P&ID, Layouts, Maps, O&M Manuals, Technical Specifications among others.
  • Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with COMOS software or at least a similar Document Management System.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
