On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Salon Account Supervisor.
Job Purpose.
The Salon Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical capabilities and sales performance of the Salon Account Developers (SADs) which includes managing the deployment and utilization of salon assets, ensuring proper execution of technical services, and achieving salon channel sales targets

Job Purpose.
The Salon Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the technical capabilities and sales performance of the Salon Account Developers (SADs) which includes managing the deployment and utilization of salon assets, ensuring proper execution of technical services, and achieving salon channel sales targets
Functional Outputs/Activities per key performance area:
Manage the Technical Capability of the Salon Account Developers (SADs)
- Ensure that SADs possess the necessary technical skills to deliver high-quality salon services to customers.
- Organize continuous training and development for SADs to enhance their technical competence.
- Regularly assess the technical performance of SADs to ensure compliance with company standards and procedure
- Oversee the allocation and deployment of salon assets (equipment, products, tools) in the region in coordination with the RBM.
- Provide oversight and supervision to SADs, ensuring technical services are delivered appropriately to salon customers.
- Ensure salon assets are efficiently used by SADs to meet operational requirements and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor asset usage and ensure proper maintenance, inventory management, and optimization in line with business objectives.
- Provide oversight and supervision to SADs, ensuring technical services are delivered appropriately to salon customers.
- Ensure compliance with the PICOS (Picture of Success) standards, including product display, advertisement visibility, and service execution in the Salon Channel. 2) Conduct regular evaluations of technical service quality and address gaps in delivery to meet market expectations
- Collaborate with the Route Sales Supervisor (RSS) to co-own and drive the sales targets for the Salon Channel in the region.
- Monitor the sales performance of SADs, ensuring alignment with sales targets and KPIs.
- Implement strategies to boost sales within the salon channel, identify new opportunities, and support SADs in achieving their targets.
- Handle and manage all hair care related issues in assigned region.
- Organize and execute salon demos, trainings in assigned territory
- Ensuring introduction of all Hair care NPDs in salon channel as per assigned territory
- Monitor and control the allocated budget. Risk Management
- Identify risk due to change in channel or competitive landscape.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in execution of duties in the country.
- Ensure Adherence to Group and In Country Policies and Procedures
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
- Diploma or Degree in cosmetology from a recognized institute
- Minimum of (2) years’ relevant work experience in FMCG sales management role
- Must be of unquestionable integrity, Honesty, Trustworthiness and Professionalism
- Strong leadership potential to drive learning, development, and operational coordination. 3) Must be a self-starter with an appreciation for business growth and priorities
- Ability to drive performance discussions with SAD teams
- Reporting and presentation skills while articulating key indicators, trends and insights.
- Knowledge of Distributor Management Systems.
- Advanced experience with MS Office
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and numerical skills with a keen business acumen
- Effective planning, coordination, and decision-making skills.
