Key Responsibilities:
- Support with solution selling into prospect account base.
- Plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in sales cycles.
- Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity.
- Understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Manage all technical aspects of RFQ responses.
- Collect and document competitive intelligence.
- Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as required by the organization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (suitable).
- Experience: 3 - 4 years of similar or related work experience, specifically in sales industry (with a focus on selling technology solutions).
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in oil & gas and mining industry, gas detection, health & safety, and/or environmental monitoring.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven track record selling enterprise solutions.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
