On behalf Wilson Uganda Limited, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work in Uganda.

On behalf Wilson Uganda Limited, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work in Uganda.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving to the job sites where equipment is deployed
- Inspection of the equipment for any defects and solving/ repairing them.
- Repairing damaged equipment parts.
- Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty equipment
- Performing major repair work, when necessary, especially engine, transmission and undercarriage system.
- Reporting defects on equipment and suggesting best solutions to solve defects.
- Preparing Reports on repairs conducted and service history
NB: Equipment include;
- Graders, Excavators, Rollers, Bulldozer and other small vehicles
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
- Valid driving permit.
- Proven minimum work experience of 5 years as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic, especially earth moving equipment.
- Experience or skill in repairing light vehicles is an added advantage
- Computer skills in Microsoft word and Excel
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
- Ability to work after-hours if required.
- Good communication skills
